About Melo Custom Homes
Our Story
I’m Mason Melotakis, raised in the DFW area all my life and a proud graduate of Grapevine High School. Before stepping into residential construction full-time, I spent ten years as a Professional Baseball Player, where I learned the value of hard work, discipline, and teamwork. These qualities I bring to every project I take on today.
During the off-seasons, I found a passion for renovations in DFW and Oklahoma, as well as creating custom builds, which eventually led me to pursue construction as my full-time career. Since retiring from baseball, I’ve had the privilege of managing multi-million-dollar custom homes on the water in North Carolina and overseeing high-end barndominium builds throughout DFW and Oklahoma.
In 2018, I launched my own construction company, focused on delivering quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and dependable timelines. As a custom home builder in DFW and Oklahoma, I take pride in being detail-oriented, punctual, and fully committed to each project, treating every build as if it were my own home.
